DataInsight 3.0 allows clients to more quickly and easily access Global Insight's vast databases, retrieve the exact information they need, and have the data easily and effectively available for use in a wide variety of Microsoft® Office applications, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint. DataInsight 3.0 allows users to automatically update charts, graphs and tables in their applications for use in research reports and presentations.

Data manipulation is done easily with drag-and-drop techniques, drop-down selection, and right mouse-clicks to apply functions. Among the features available with DataInsight 3.0 is Global Insight's proprietary Key Indictor database that provides cross-country comparability for over 40 concepts across more than 100 countries along with the ability to search for data across multiple concepts including industries and countries. DataInsight 3.0 provides access to historical data dating back to the 1960's and earlier, along with Global Insight's forecast data. DataInsight 3.0 also provides clients with pre-formatted tables; quick views; keyword search; access to comparable data; a flexible search tool; and simple data retrieval.
